My sister woke up screaming madly as if someone was murdering her last night, around 2am. I woke up but couldn’t get out of the bed. I was tangled in the sheets or something and all I did was scream her name from my bed. Talk about being useless.
Eventually, I got out of bed and went running over to her and, after she had calmed down a bit, she said something fell from the roof. My dad and I went into her room to see just what was it that had fallen and it turned out to be just some cardboard she had laying around. My mom was so scared she almost threw up, I started laughing and haven’t been able to stop completely yet. Anyways, we all went back to bed.
The thing is, my first thought was someone was hurting her. So when I went to bed, I started having this dream where our house was being robbed by like 8 men and I could see them tearing down the fences and invading my house. My dad and my sister were like in shock and didn’t do anything. I don’t know where my mom was. But I, being the awesome girl that I am, got up and started kicking some serious bad guy’s ass. I had the sickest ninja moves and a baseball bat, and with that I saved my house and my family. The end. But I didn’t really rest at all. I woke up as if I hadn’t slept whatsoever.
Now I’m tired and my eyes are sore and I can’t work. Period

True romance, 1993 (dir. Tony Scott)
Absolutely love this movie. One of Quentin Tarantino’s best scripts.
